The American League Wild Card Game.

In my world this game normally provides one of the two teams duking it out for the American League Pennant.  Well, that's the way it seems in my world.  This year I cannot see that happening.

The reason being, the teams that play in this game have usually had to fight like crazy to get here and are generally hot, in terms of form and the very fact that have to play so quickly and keep on playing so soon after the regular season has finished means that they can keep that run of form going.  The schedule for the winners of this game is to play Kansas City on Thursday after 1 day of rest, so the rhythm they have created is maintained.  Kansas will have had 3 days off, giving them time to lose their edge.

What makes this year different is that both the Yankees and the Astros fell over the line into the post season.  Kansas City ruthlessly destroyed Minnesota's chances of a Wild Card in their final series against one another and Texas crushed the Angles, by smashing their pitchers all over the place, so neither of those involved in the AL Wild Card race has any trace of good form, so we're not going to put any more money on either of them to win the World Series.

However, against one another I'm going to plump for the Yankees.

So, for  you are advised to have a 1pt win single @ Evs on New York Yankees (Tanaka) to beat Houston Astros (Keuchel), available with Boylesports & UK Sportsbook.  Score 0-3.

Total stake 1.00 pt.  Return 0.00.  Loss 1.00 pt.

First Pitch 01.00 BST.

It's A Wild Thing!
