It looks to me very much like the Kansas City Royals are making the same mistake in the ALCS as the Texas Rangers made in the ALDS against Toronto.  They are fielding a pitcher with a losing regular season record (Cueto) because a loss in the third game doesn't look to be significant.  As Texas found out, this sort of planning might not work against the Blue Jays...

When you add to that the fact that the Blue Jays are odds-on, we'll be leaving the game alone.

The situation with regard to the season long bets now looks like this.

0.1pt Chicago Cubs to win the World Series @ 33-1 Link  Possible return 3.4 pts

0.1 pt Kansas City Royals to win the World Series @ 16-1  Link

0.1 pt Kansas City Royals to win the World Series @ 14-1 Link  Possible return 3.2 pts

0.1pt Toronto Blue Jays to win the World Series @ 22-1 Link

0.1 pt Toronto Blue Jays to win the World Series @ 22-1 Link

0.87 pt Toronto Blue Jays to win the World Series @ 14-1 Link  Possible Return 17.65 pts

The worst outcome for us would be a New York Mets win with a return of a big fat zero, the work of hauling TheBaseballTipper 2015 into profit will have to be done with football.
