For possibly the last time, you never know what an independent Scotland might do with regard to football betting, though I'd have thought that with Alex Salmond in charge things will probably be OK, here are the selections for the weekend and they all have a distinctly Gaelic theme!

For The Safe Method you should have a 0.1 pt patent on the following :

Ayr Utd. to beat Stranraer @ 19-20.  Score 0-2

Arbroath to beat East Fife @ 17-20.  Score 0-2

Inverness Caledonian Thistle to beat Partick Thistle @ 8-5.  Score 1-3

Total stake for The Safe Method  0.7 pt.  Return 0.00.  Loss 0.7 pt.

For The Dangerous Method you are advised to have the same 0.1 pt patent plus:

2.3 pts  on Inverness Caledonian Thistle to beat Partick Thistle @ 13-8 with .  6-4 or better is available from bet365 , Sign Up Now, & so should it win it will be settled @ 6-4.  Score 1-3

1.7 pts  on Inverness Caledonian Thistle to draw with Partick Thistle @ 12-5 which is available from Sign Up Now, Paddy Power, UK Sportsbook, www.stanjames.comWinner.

I have to ask, where are Bet365 in amongst all those companies offering 12-5 the draw?  Is that a tip in itself?  The company that normally offers the best price on the draw, nowhere in sight...

Total stake for The Dangerous Method 4.7 pts.  Return 0.00.  Loss 4.7 pts.

For TUB you are advised to have the same patent for 10 pts and the same bets on Inverness Caledonian Thistle & Partick Thistle, but this time 230 pts for Inverness to win and 170 pts on the draw.

Total stake for TUB 470 pts.  Return 0.00 pts.  Loss 470 pts.

Now the following is supposed to mean 'Good Luck' in Gaelic.  Apologies if it means something else!

G'un Robh Math Agad!
