Time to Hunker Down a Bit.

It feels like an age since we had a winner but in fact the last winner we had was on the fourth of January.

This means there are two options, we either hunker down and weather the storm of dashed hopes, or we stand up, scream into the wind and come out fighting.

No prizes for guessing what we're going to do.  Yes, we're staying out of the howling gale until there is a bright spot of blue value shining through the grey that we've had to endure for the last couple of weeks.

There are no midweek tips for today or tomorrow.   To save you looking, if you've registered, this also applies to The Dangerous and The Proper Footytipping Season Starts Now Methods.  We'll be back in action for the weekend.

There is a teenie weenie bit of good news though.   have agreed to extend the  P & C Onion Bag Challenge in Association with thetipper.co.uk for another six weeks.

So, even though nobody has entered this fabulous competition and a £10 bet has gone begging for seventeen weeks there are now another seven chances for some brave soul to win.

Start off by having a go this weekend.  Go to:  http://www.thetipper.co.uk/competitions.php?title=The-Boylesports-P-and-C-Onion-Bag-Challenge-in-association-with-thetipper.co.uk
for all the details.

I'm not the only one who's flabbergasted that the FIFA team of the year is completely stuffed full of La Liga players.  Did they not see which team won the European Cup last year.  It was Chelsea and to say that nobody from that team is good enough to play in a World 11 is barmy.

Robbie Savage and Mark Lawrenson have picked a side that would give them a great game at:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21011347  I don't see how you can leave out Mata, Michu and Dzeko, but then if you play them who do you leave on the bench?  Only four Brits in the team though, so perhaps the blighters at FIFA have a point.

Good Fortune Viewers!
