The BetVictor Top Four in association with

Nice snappy title.

BetVictor have kindly agreed to sponsor this competition with prizes worth £100 in free bets every month for the duration of the coming 2012-13 football season in England and Scotland.

If you fancy having a go at it the details are on the Competitions page which you can see if you register.

There are plenty of goings on in the transfer market.  Andy Carroll has a price tag of £20,000,000, Luca Modric £35,000,000 and there's the possibility that Sheffield Wednesday will make a move for Joey Barton which QPR might be agreeable to if Wednesday offer enough money. There are unfounded rumours that it could be a new Championship record signing of........£1.75?

You'll notice there that I didn't use the sponsors name when writing about the Championship.  That was deliberate.  The BBC, who supposedly don't allow advertsing, will always mention the sponsors when talking about the ground where a sporting event is taking place.  That baffles me.  Where is the justification for it?  I suppose it must be written into the agreement for screening rights, but that still doesn't make it right.  There should be no advertising on the BBC.

Good Fortune Viewers!
